Treasures Empowerment Development Initiative (TEDI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by equipping underprivileged youth Treasures Empowerment Development Initiative (TEDI) is a registered non-governmental organization (CAC/IT/NO 128370) committed to uplifting underprivileged youth, women, and girls in rural and urban poor communities in Nigeria. Through free vocational skills training, entrepreneurship programs, and advocacy, we equip them to become self-reliant, self-sufficient, and agents of change in their communities.

Why We Exist – The Problem
Nigeria faces an alarming unemployment crisis, especially among youth—including graduates—due to limited job opportunities. Women and girls in poor communities face additional barriers: marginalization, unequal gender roles, and financial dependence, which often result in vulnerability to domestic violence and economic exclusion. TEDI addresses these issues by equipping beneficiaries with income-generating skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and funding opportunities.
